I had a good cluck to incumbent Christchurch Mayor Bob Parker last night, along with my team of translators and assistants. We asked Bob a series of questions, including some put forward for inclusion by people before and during the interview. Thanks again Bob for coming up and having a chat, it was great to hear some of your views and opinions on Christchurch and it led to a lot of good discussion and more questions people raised from the live video and chatroom. We look forward to releasing more of the interview, but, next up is Jim Anderton having his say on some related issues and other relevant questions people have for him. Well, we’re in the paper. Great to finally get some print media behind us supporting our online push.

Hi, I’m Naughty Chicken.

I’m not really running for mayor, but it would be kind of funny if a Rubber Chicken called Naughty Chicken, did stand up and decide that he/she (?) wanted to become the new mayor of Christchurch. This site is also not trying to be funny… it’s a serious issue for all who live in Christchurch. Deciding who will be our mayor will ultimately impact on the major decisions and issues that our city will face.

I hope to have meetings with all the candidates well before election day so you can make an informed decision on who is running, and what they are like and what they intend to accomplish during their term in office.

So c’mon Christchurch – don’t be an egg! Get out and vote in this year’s Christchurch election!
