Please ask the mayoral candidates why there can't be some quality planning for cycling routes across the city, especially in new residential and industrial subdivisions. It's much easier to make provision when a subdivision is being laid out rather than try to accommodate a cycling route in retrospect. An example of a missed opportunity is all the industrial development between Heathcote and Hillsborough/Woolston where a route from Scruttons Rd to Dalziel Place and on would be valuable.
