Hi there,
Welcome to Naughty Chicken’s Christchurch election website. I’ve created a political website to get younger people motivated to vote in this year’s local election. I’d like to think this site is going to encourage people to get involved and understand who the candidates are and what they stand for but more importantly, what are these people going to do!
So far there are 4 candidates for 2010. Current mayor Bob Parker, Jim Anderton, Peter Wakeman and Blair Anderson. I have a confirmed meeting happening with Bob Parker and I look forward to interviewing the other candidates if they are interested. All the candidates will be asked the same questions, however, we will be live streaming the interviews to the web via this site, so, once I have asked the questions I have, I will open it up to the chatroom to ask more of the questions that you feel needs asking.
So c’mon people. Stand up and be counted. Don’t be an egg! Make sure you vote in this year’s Christchurch Elections!
